GED / BDP 2100
The Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100 implementation body, managed by the General Economics Division of the Bangladesh Planning Commission with Netherlands government support, coordinates a US$38 billion adaptive delta management programme covering six geographic hotspots — coastal zones, Dhaka city, Barind Tract, haors, and Chattogram Hill Tracts. The Delta Wing employs GIS analysts, hydrologists, environmental scientists, and spatial planners to monitor and coordinate 65 infrastructure and 15 institutional projects transforming Bangladesh's water-land-climate management over this century.
