BRAC, the world's largest development NGO founded in 1972, operates a dedicated Climate Change Programme and hosts the Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Research (C3ER) at BRAC University. BRAC's climate adaptation programmes target coastal flooding, salinity intrusion, drought, and climate migration across Bangladesh. GIS analysts, remote sensing researchers, and environmental scientists at BRAC work on climate vulnerability mapping, disaster risk analysis, and adaptive management for the country's most climate-exposed communities.
