Faculty of Civil Engineering
Established in 1974, upgraded to a full department under the Faculty of Civil Engineering in 1980. Approximately 150 undergrad and 70 postgraduate students. Offers BSc, MSc and PhD programs. Specializations include Hydrology, Hydraulics, Groundwater Engineering, River Engineering, Coastal Zone Management, Water Resources Management, Irrigation and Drainage, Sediment Transport, and GIS and Remote Sensing (introduced into Masters curriculum in 1998).
