Institute (standalone)
Established in 1976 as the "Institute of Forestry" on a separate campus at Hathazari, Chittagong. Renamed in 1996 to include Environmental Sciences. Offers BSc (Hons) in Forestry, BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science, MSc in Forestry, MSc in Environmental Science, MPhil, PhD and an in-service Master of Forestry for forest department professionals. Specializations include Forest Ecosystem Management, Environmental Science, Biodiversity and Agroforestry. Situated near the Chittagong Hill Tracts — one of Bangladesh's most biodiverse regions.
